UVA finised 5th at the 2009 Southern Scuffle out of 33 teams.  Eight Cavaliers placed in the top 8 in their respective weight classes as posted in the previous post.

UVa's 4th ranked Henrich in finals vs #1 ranked Lewnes of Cornell! 7 other placewinners including Gitomer (6th), Snyder (7th) both at 125. Nelson (3rd) and Valenti (7th) both at 141. Gonsor (5th) at 157. Salopek (3rd) and Fausey (8th) both at 184. Nelson and Fausey are redshirts so don't count towards our team sco...re.
