My 9 year old son is already looking forward to the start of the season at the Caviler Wrestling Club, and, as a parent, I am really glad for the opportunity for my son. The coaches are great, the kids enjoy the practice sessions despite the hard work, and kids and parents all enjoy the association with the UVA Wrestling Team. And because of the weight divisions, it is accessible for boys and girls of all ages and body types.
As a parent of a young boy, one of the things that I love about the Cavalier Wrestling Club is that we see the younger kids working out in the same setting as older boys, and the younger kids can see what can be accomplished. That carries right on to watching the UVA wrestlers at their home meets; the kids from the club wear their team shirts, and you can see that they really feel like they are a part of it.

I just wanted to reiterate a big thank you from our family.
I've seen a lot of kids sports, and a lot of other programming for kids. More so than anything else I've seen, CWC does a freat job of setting high standards for kids and providing the support and instruction they need to meet those standards.
Our son has loved the experience and is eager for more. We're grateful to have CWC in Charlottesville!
